SAN CLEMENTE : Inland Residents’ Meeting Scheduled
- Share via
Rep. Ron Packard (R-Carlsbad) is scheduled to hold a community meeting Thursday at the request of a new homeowner’s association for inland city residents.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Little Theater at San Clemente High School, 700 Avenida Pico, and the public is invited to attend.
The meeting was set up by the Northeast San Clemente Homeowners Assn., a group of 7,000 residents mostly from tract homes in the Rancho San Clemente and Forster Ranch neighborhoods.
The group was formed last year because residents in that area of the city wanted more representation on local issues. At that time, association founder Steve Apodaca said the city’s traditional homeowners’ group, the San Clemente Homeowners Assn., was more representative of residents in older areas of the city, along El Camino Real and near the beach.
