Bump Wills, son of former Dodger star Maury Wills, has been hired as manager of the Gastonia Rangers in the South Atlantic League. The team is a Class-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. For the past three seasons, Wills has managed the Butte Copper Kings of the Pioneer League.
