Adding Ads: Officials from New Jersey-based Goya Foods announced that the company will resume advertising on Spanish-language Univision Network’s owned-and-operated station in New York City, WXTV Channel 41. The company had withdrawn advertising to protest Spanish commentator Carlos Alberto Montaner’s allegedly anti-Puerto Rican remark last November on “Portada,” a newsmagazine show. As a result of discussions about the incident between Goya and Channel 41, the station has committed to airing a new community affairs program to begin in February.
