David Bishop has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of LIVE Home Video, a subsidiary of home video supplier Live Entertainment Inc. Both are based in Van Nuys.
Bishop will assume his post Feb. 1. Formerly, he was vice president of sales for MGM-Pathe Home Video, overseeing worldwide sales and marketing operations. Before joining MGM/UA in 1984, Bishop spent seven years with Schwartz Brothers, a home entertainment distributor, in various positions in their retail and wholesale divisions.
In his new position, Bishop will oversee the company’s marketing, sales and distribution operations.
