Fann Invited to NFL Combine

Albert Fann has become the first Cal State Northridge football player to be invited to take part in the National Football League scouting combine.
The combine, which will be held the second week of February in Indianapolis, provides an opportunity for professional football scouts to interview top prospects and test them for agility, strength and speed.
Fann, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound running back, has been projected to go as high as the fourth round in this spring’s NFL draft. He finished as Northridge’s all-time leading rusher with 4,170 yards and his 7,032 career total in all-purpose yardage is the fifth-best in NCAA history at any level.
Fann left for Florida on Tuesday to begin practice for the All-American Bowl, an all-star football game to be played Jan. 20, which will be broadcast live by CBS.
