The Dream Lives On: Talk show host Arsenio Hall will pay tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. today, featuring a special presentation to the late civil rights activist. In celebration of the observance of King’s birthday, Hall’s show will feature guests Lenny Kravitz, who will perform his new version of “Give Peace a Chance,” on which he collaborated with Sean and Yoko Ono Lennon and others. Hall will also speak to poet Maya Angelou, who, at King’s request, became a coordinator of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference from 1960-61.
