Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder

GARDEN GROVE — A Santa Ana man was arrested Monday on suspicion of fatally shooting a man two months ago outside a popular Vietnamese restaurant, police said.
Victor Tuan Nguyen, 31, was booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of murder. He was being held in lieu of $250,000 bail in connection with the Nov. 15 shooting death of Thanh Chi Nguyen, 26, of Anaheim. The two men were not related.
Thanh Nguyen, who was also known as Hui Le Ho, died after he was shot four times during an altercation in the parking lot of the My Nguyen restaurant in the 14000 block of Brookhurst Street.
Police declined to comment on a possible motive for the shooting. A police spokesman said only that the incident stemmed from a “long-standing dispute.”
