Issues affecting women and the city’s women’s programs will be discussed at a forum from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Central Library auditorium, 285 E. Walnut St.
Sponsored by the Commission on the Status of Women, the forum seeks comment on such programs as the annual Women’s Conference and the Women in Leadership Development program for high school students.
Also planned at the same time Saturday is a land-use workshop to discuss the city’s General Plan, which will soon be reviewed and revised by the city’s Planning Department and the Board of Directors.
The workshop will be held in the police building assembly room, 207 N. Garfield Ave.
