Jealous Woman Eats Part of Lover’s Tongue

RIO DE JANEIRO — A jealous woman punished her lover after finding out that he was married by biting off a chunk of his tongue while pretending to kiss him, police said Wednesday.
“The woman swallowed the piece of tongue to prevent him from having it sewn back on,” said a police spokesman in Salvador, in northeastern Brazil.
Djalma Jose dos Santos, 47, is in a hospital after the Monday attack. The woman is in hiding, police said.
