Three Arrested in Attack on Man in Vista

Three men were arrested Saturday evening for stabbing a man in the abdomen and beating him with a crowbar in Vista.
Elifrin Valasquez was attacked about 5:20 p.m. at a market in the 400 block of N. Santa Fe Avenue. Three men then fled in a white Ford Mustang.
San Diego Sheriff’s patrol units picked up the men about 6 p.m. and arrested them on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Valasquez was taken to the Palomar Medical Center intensive care unit and is listed in stable condition.
