Free Concert for Volunteers: The Los Angeles Master Chorale, a resident company of the Music Center, will honor the American Red Cross by offering blood donors and Red Cross volunteers in the Los Angeles area 1,000 free tickets to its concert at the Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Sunday. The concert will feature Benjamin Britten’s “Cantata Misericordium,” a work commissioned for the Centennial of the International Red Cross in 1963. Tickets will be distributed Wednesday through the Red Cross’s nine permanent blood-donor sites.
