2 Bodies Found in Unrelated Killings

SANTA ANA — Police on Saturday were investigating the unrelated slayings of two men found dead in their homes.
A 48-year-old man was found stabbed to death about 9:30 p.m. Friday in his apartment in the 400 block of South Birch Street, Police Sgt. Dick Faust said.
The man, who was not identified, had been stabbed in the abdomen.
His roommate “knocked on the door, didn’t receive a response, went through the window and found the victim lying in bed stabbed to death,” Faust said.
Earlier Friday, police found the body of Rosendo Cisneros Moreno, 54, in his home in the 600 block of South Newhope Street, Faust said.
Officers were checking on Moreno at his neighbors’ request when they found his body about 10:30 a.m., Faust said.
