Sterling Optical, Hackensack, N.J., has elected Robert K. Low chairman and chief executive to succeed Richard Block. The company declined to state the reason for Block’s replacement. Low had been a director of Sterling and its predecessor company since 1959. Sterling also appointed Executive Vice President George Casabona to the additional post of chief operating officer.
