Singapore Airlines Orders Pratt Engines

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — Singapore Airlines has ordered Pratt & Whitney PW4056 engines worth $210 million to power six Boeing 747-400 aircraft that the airline has on firm order.
Prat & Whitney will supply Singapore with 30 PW4056 engines, including six spares. Deliveries of the aircraft begin in October, 1992, and extend to January 1995.
