COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titans Defeat Oklahoma State in Softball

Cal State Fullerton scored in the seventh and the eighth innings to beat Oklahoma State, 2-1, Thursday in the pool-play round of the PONY Softball Tournament at Fullerton.
Mich DeBree singled to score Tiffany Boyd in the eighth for the winning run for seventh-ranked Fullerton (27-7). Kelly Hunt had singled to score DeBree in the seventh for Fullerton, which won its pool with a 3-0 record. Fullerton defeated Oregon, 8-3, earlier Thursday.
In nonconference men’s baseball:
Southern California College 5, Chapman 3--Matt Dahlgren doubled to left center scoring Sean Maharg from second in the bottom of seventh inning and Doug Rystrom singled home Frank Howell, who ran for Dahlgren, to break a 3-3 tie in the seventh for visiting Southern California College.
Ryan Meredith (1-1) pitched a complete game, allowing six hits and three walks and struck out five for SCC (11-10). Chapman is 8-18.
