Caltech Receives $16.8-Million Pledge

Intel Corp. co-founder Gordon E. Moore and his wife, Betty, have pledged $16.8 million for a five-story electronic materials and structures laboratory at Caltech.
The building will contain classrooms, labs and office space. Intel manufactures supercomputers and microcomputer components and modules.
