OXNARD : Council Delays Vote on Housing Project
- Share via
The Oxnard City Council postponed action Tuesday on a 480-unit housing project in the Ormond Beach area, one of the most coveted undeveloped sites in the city.
The council also withheld a decision on a proposal to build a marina on city-owned property at Ormond Beach after some council members complained that staff had not given them enough information.
Councilman Michael Plisky said he could not support the housing project until a master plan for the entire Ormond Beach area was in place.
The council is scheduled to reconsider the master plan and the housing project April 16.
