COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Cawhorn Leads Orange Coast to Victory

Gerad Cawhorn had three hits, including a home run, drove in two runs and scored three times as Golden West defeated Orange Coast, 7-5, in an Orange Empire Conference baseball game Monday at Orange Coast.

Ben Mendoza singled in the ninth inning to score Cawhorn with the go-ahead run for Golden West (11-14, 6-7). Derek Ogle (5-4) gave up seven hits in the complete-game victory.
