U.S. Flag

Noting our recent obsession with flag-waving (where are these people the rest of the year?), I would like to see a few of our well-meaning patriots actually learn the correct way to treat a flag, namely: Either take the darn thing down after dark or shine a light on it like you’re supposed to.

Don’t just hang it up there and leave it for a month. In displaying your flag, you have an obligation to treat it with respect.
