West Los Angeles : Police Plan Open House

West Los Angeles police officers will hold their first open house in 20 years on May 4.
The event will be held at the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Los Angeles Division headquarters, 1663 S. Butler Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Officer Ralph Strand said officers will give tours of the station and displays of the K-9 dog unit, bomb squad and the anti-drug DARE program. They also will discuss their functions and duties.
Antique police cars and LAPD regalia will be on display.
Police will offer free fingerprinting for children and bicycle licensing. For details, call 312-8421.
