Fluor Daniel’s Contracts: Fluor Daniel Inc. said it has begun work on engineering and construction contracts for two divisions of CPC International Inc. in Argo, Ill. One contract, worth $9 million, calls for the firm to modify a Mazola corn oil manufacturing plant for Best Foods, CPC’s North American consumer foods division. Work is expected to be completed in late 1991. Fluor Daniel will also perform engineering, procurement and construction management for modifications of a corn processing plant at CPC’s Argo complex for Corn Products, which makes food ingredients and industrial materials. That contract, worth $20 million, is scheduled for completion in early 1992. Fluor Daniel Inc. is the principal subsidiary of the Fluor Corp., an international engineering and construction company.
