Man Waving Gun Subdued With Taser

San Diego police subdued a Southeast San Diego man whom neighbors said was waving a gun Saturday evening and threatening to “kill everyone in the neighborhood,” police said.
Officers arrived at the 700 block of Sawtelle Avenue about 5:30 p.m. and saw the suspect with the gun. Sgt. Ralph Garcia use a Taser, or stun gun, to subdue the man.
Upon examination, the man’s weapon was found to be a BB gun.
The suspect was taken into custody. Police did not release his name.
