Mail Boxes Franchiser Reports Loss for 1990

Mail Boxes Coast to Coast, a major franchiser of Mail Boxes Etc. postal service outlets, reported a $101,660 loss for 1990, compared with a $154,606 loss the previous year.
MBCC, a Glendale-based concern that focuses on the Los Angeles and New York City markets, said the narrower loss in the latest year came on a 14% decline in its revenue, to $771,126 from $891,815 in 1989.
The lower revenue stemmed from the 1990 sale of MBCC’s Mail Boxes franchise territories in parts of New York City and its environs.
