Long Beach : Committee Will Hold First Meeting About Port Disney

The recently appointed citizen’s advisory committee on the Port Disney proposal will have its first meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the auditorium of the main library in downtown Long Beach.
The 55-member committee will be given an overview of the Disney Development Co. proposal to build a massive waterfront theme park in the port area, as well as a status report on various studies being conducted for the project. The meeting is open to the public.
