CLU’s Babki Signs With Expos

Blake Babki, a fifth-year senior center fielder for Cal Lutheran, signed a contract Monday with the Montreal Expos.
He will leave May 25 for Jamestown, N. Y., which plays in the Class-A New York-Penn League.
Babki, who attended high school at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute in Alberta, Canada, and came to CLU from Oxnard College, batted .287, scored 51 runs, drove in 27, hit 10 home runs and walked 44 times.
