Landon Hospitalized: Actor Michael Landon, who has inoperable cancer of the liver and pancreas, is expected to be released in the next day or two after being hospitalized for minor surgery for an unrelated blood clot. Landon checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late Monday for scheduled surgery on Tuesday to remove a blood clot from his leg. Landon was to return home immediately after surgery but came down with the flu which extended his stay, a hospital spokesman said Thursday.
