The Gaslamp Quarter Theatre Company’s first season since 1992 continues with the Southern California premiere of “Unquestioned Integrity,” a first play by San Francisco Magic Theatre artistic director Mame Hunt, which draws dialogue from transcripts of Clarence Thomas’ 1991 Supreme Court confirmation battles with Anita Hill. It runs March 9 to April 2.
Following April 27 to May 21 will be the world premiere of Mark Harelik’s “The Legacy,” a continuation of the characters in “The Immigrant”--his autobiographical story of his Jewish immigrant family in Texas. “The Legacy” will be directed by Denver Theatre Center resident director and longtime Harelik collaborator Randal Myler.
The season concludes with the company’s seventh annual Streisand Festival of New Jewish Plays May 1-23.
