City to Weigh Concerts for Disabled Citizens

The Thousand Oaks City Council is being encouraged to approve a plan that would make classical music performances available to the severely disabled.
If the proposal is approved, the city Arts Commission would try to schedule monthly concerts in the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation facility on Westlake Boulevard, where about 30 people live.
The council is scheduled to decide the issue Tuesday during its weekly meeting.
