In Golden State Athletic Conference women’s basketball:
Southern California College 65, Cal Baptist 46--Heather Woodruff scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Southern California College (17-10, 7-3).
In nonconference baseball:
Cal State Fullerton 4, Fresno State 3--Brian Loyd had four hits, and Tim Dixon pitched 6 2/3 strong innings for Cal State Fullerton.
In the Arizona State softball tournament:
Cal State Fullerton 2, Ohio State 0--Gabby Guerrero, in her first start, threw a four-hitter for the Titans (6-1).
Cal State Fullerton 2, Oregon 1--The Titans scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning for the victory. Julie Williams hit a home run, and Tracie Noggle scored the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly by Rose Garces.
In nonconference softball:
Chapman 4-8, Cal Lutheran 0-5--Christy Guidorizzi pitched a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts for Chapman in the first game.
In Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s volleyball
UC Irvine 3, Pepperdine 1--Leland Quinn (37 kills) and Jason Hinchman (103 assists) set school match records for Irvine (4-3, 3-3).
