MISSION VIEJO : Council Approves City Hall Reshuffling
- Share via
A reorganization of the top positions in City Hall has been approved by the City Council, which took time out to praise the consolidation of top managers.
The reorganization--the first major decision made by new City Manager Dan Joseph--will save the city about $96,000 annually through the consolidation and elimination of about 1 1/2 jobs, officials said.
Public Works Director Dennis Wilberg was given additional duties as assistant city manager, where his main responsibility will be guiding the city’s redevelopment agency.
With Wilberg accepting new responsibilities, Loren Anderson will become city engineer. Former senior management analyst Rick Howard will become an assistant to the city manager.
Also, JoAnn Corey will move from management analyst to senior management analyst. Her former job was eliminated by Joseph.
