Woodland Hills : Valley Center Names New Board President

David A. DeFore, a real estate consultant, has been elected president of the board of directors of the Valley Cultural Center, which presents the free “Concerts in the Park” series every summer at Warner Park in Woodland Hills.
DeFore, an Encino resident and graduate of the USC School of Business, is first vice president at CB Commercial Real Estate Group Inc.
He serves on the board of directors of the Encino Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Community Clinic and is a member of the Valley Industry and Commerce Assn.
The Woodland Hills-based, nonprofit Valley Cultural Center is funded through individual and corporate donations.
