Also, right-hander Scott Sanderson and infielder Damion Easley were put on the 15-day disabled list because of shoulder injuries; right-hander Dennis Springer was assigned to minor league camp; right-handers Geoff Edsell and David Holdridge and infielders Eduardo Perez and Aaron Ladesma were designated for assignment; catcher Ron Tingley was released and infielder Tim Harkrider was put on the 60-day disabled list.
