Woodland Hills : Therapist to Discuss Aid for Addiction

Larry Horn, a licensed marriage, family and child counselor, will discuss ways to deal with drug abuse in a lecture Thursday at Pierce College.
His free talk, “Breaking the Cycle of Addiction: How to Free Yourself From Alcohol and Other Drugs,” will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Campus Center lounge.
Horn, a sociology instructor at Pierce, specializes in helping people cope with chemical dependencies. He will offer tips on identifying substance abuse problems and will discuss fetal alcohol syndrome.
