“Neighbors for Neighbors,” set for April 27, is seeking volunteers who don’t mind getting their hands dirty.
Residents and service organizations will join forces that day to beautify Costa Mesa by picking up trash, painting over graffiti, repairing and painting fences, and planting trees and shrubs.
The campaign this year will focus on Coolidge Avenue and Fillmore Way in north Costa Mesa, and Canyon Park on the west side of town.
The cleanup on Coolidge and Fillmore will begin at 8 a.m. and the park cleanup at 9 a.m.
Lunch and entertainment will be provided for all volunteers at a party after the cleanup. Information: (714) 754-5140.
