Asner, Hill to Appear at Benefit

Ed Asner, “Beauty and the Beast” star Jim Barbour, “The Single Guy” co-star Joey Slotnick and Amy Hill of “Maybe This Time” are among those scheduled to take part in an April 15 benefit for Gilda’s Club, a New York support center for people with cancer co-founded in 1995 by Gene Wilder as a tribute to his wife, the late comedian Gilda Radner.
The 8 p.m. show, hosted by Hollywood-based ComedySportz, which mounts head-to-head improvisational comedy competitions between teams from 22 cities across the country, takes place at Sunset Boulevard’s Comedy Store.
Performers include Comedy-Sportz competitors from across the country, as well as celebrity performers and judges.
