9 Hurt in 4-Car Accident in Crenshaw District

Nine people were injured, two of them critically, in a four-car accident Friday in the Crenshaw district, officials said.
Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the city Fire Department, said a 9-month-old infant suffered head trauma and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The other critically injured victim, a 71-year-old man, sustained chest trauma and was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Westwood.
