Sonora’s Aiyana Nash has orally committed to attend New Mexico next year to play women’s basketball.
Nash, a 5-foot-5 guard, averaged 27.8 points and made a county-high 90 three-point baskets, shooting 43.3% from beyond the arc. She finished her career as Orange County’s all-time leader in three-point baskets with 220.
Nash, a Times all-county first-team performer, averaged 19.2 points during her four-year varsity career.

El Toro goalkeeper Greg Stoll has committed to Princeton and will play water polo, Coach Don Stoll announced Monday.
Stoll, who has a 4.3 grade-point average and is El Toro’s senior class president, selected Princeton over UCLA and California. He was a Times first-team all-county selection.
