SEASON AT A GLANCE: Sharron, a left-hander, has been outstanding since becoming Thousand Oaks’ top pitcher at midseason last year.In 93 innings this year, she has given up just 27 hits, struck out 120 and walked only four. Five of her eight victories have been no-hitters, including three perfect games. Her three losses were to top-notch teams: Camarillo, Newbury Park and undefeated Naples, a highly regarded team from Florida.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Sharron allowed eight hits and struck out 41 in 27 innings against some of the best teams in Florida and was chosen the outstanding pitcher in the Kissimmee (Fla.) tournament. The Lancers, ranked No. 4 in The Times’ regional poll, were 3-1 in the tournament, losing to Naples (19-0) in the championship game, 1-0.
