The Capistrano Unified School District Foundation is making final plans for its third annual golf tournament, scheduled for 9 a.m. April 29 at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club.
The fund-raising event, open to the public, includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, tee prizes, an evening banquet and auction, and an awards ceremony.
Proceeds from the tournament go to the nonprofit foundation’s Grant Incentives for Teachers program, which offers grants to district teachers for innovative ideas to enhance the educational environment and directly benefit students in the classroom.
Entry fee for the golf tournament and the day’s activities is $150. The cost for just the banquet, auction and awards ceremony is $50.
