Residents Urged to Recycle Phone Books
Residents are reminded to recycle their telephone directories this month as part of the South Orange County Old Phone Book Recycling Program, an area effort aimed at saving valuable space in landfills.
From now until May 17, residents can drop old phone books off at designated locations around South County. Old phone books will also be picked up from residents’ blue recycling containers through their city’s curbside collection program. To find the nearest drop-off location, call (800) 953-4400.
