Dentsu, Young & Rubicam Dissolve West Coast Partnership: Dentsu USA, an arm of the Japanese agency, is acquiring Young & Rubicam’s stake in the Los Angeles agency of Lord, Dentsu & Partners, whose clients include AST Computers and Countrywide Home Loans. Dentsu named Don Effler chief executive and Pat Rogge president of the Los Angeles agency, which is being renamed Rogge Effler & Partners. The New York office of Lord, Dentsu & Partners is not affected by the transaction.
