Transfer Argument One-Sided at UCLA
First UCLA hired a pro from Australia to win the women’s NCAA softball title. Now the Bad News Bruins refuse to release a bench-riding hoopster who wants to join the father-figure coach who recruited him. Wasn’t it only yesterday their basketball champions were led by transfer Ed O’Bannon? Obviously, sportsmanship gives way to winning at any cost at Westwood.
