No. 2 Capistrano Valley (1-0) vs. No. 7 Edison (1-0), Orange Coast College, 7 p.m.

Capistrano Valley, which hasn’t played since Aug. 30 when it defeated Nanakuli in Hawaii, 42-21, has won four of its last five meetings with Edison. But four of those five games have been decided by six points or less. Edison’s Vince Catani rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-13 victory over Paramount last week. Edison’s offense must find a way to produce or it could be a long night.
