* The matchup: Narbonne Athletic Director Tim Moriarty said he has taken some heat from his coaching staff about scheduling such a difficult nonleague game. “I think this game is not only good for helping build our program, but I think it’s good for South Bay football,” he said. Peninsula has been a Southern Section power since the school opened six years ago; Narbonne made the City Section playoffs last season for the first time in a decade. A capacity crowd is expected.
