Erroneus Caption

I am writing in response to “I Compute, Ergo I Ache” (Nov. 11). The photo caption for the article incorrectly suggests that I am endorsing the Credo chair.

I do not under any circumstances endorse any one chair. The Credo is one of a number of very good chairs on the market. Further, as I indicated during the interview, no one chair accommodates all users and tasks. I consistently recommend that organizations make at least three chairs available--a standard version and chairs for small and large users. I also recommend that where feasible, users participate in evaluating products.
