Responding to Mayor’s Response
In his response (Letters, Nov. 24) to my review of the effects of downsizing local government, Fullerton Mayor Chris Norby confused my simple arithmetic with his one-ideology-fits-all philosophy.
The point of my impartial analysis was not, as Norby suggested, a plea for more taxes and bonded indebtedness. Instead, I asked--as many Fullerton residents have--for the answer to this question: How can city services and infrastructure be maintained with fewer resources?
If Norby will tell me what part of that question he does not understand, I will be glad to explain it.
