* While it is always heartening to learn that altruism, civic pride and the sweat of volunteers are beautifying a Reseda traffic median, it might also be nice to learn why the Department of Public Works has allowed that traffic median to fall into decline.

A nice follow-up to “Reseda’s Reseeders” (Dec. 3) might be “Department of Public Works Lives Up to Its Name.”
