Aliso Niguel, Senior; Football/Running Back
Nemeth, who switched from quarterback to running back in the fourth game of the season, finished with a flourish, rushing for a career-high 238 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-21 victory over Pacifica in the Division VIII title game. Nemeth also played the entire game at cornerback and made a couple touchdown-saving tackles.

* Foothill, sophomore. Named most valuable athlete in lower weight classes at Brethren Christian tournament, winning 10 matches by pin.
Zach Miederhoff/Soccer/Midfielder
* San Clemente, senior. Scored in 2-0 victory over Saddleback and in 1-0 victory over Irvine to win the Irvine tournament.
Billy Newman/Football/Running Back
* Santa Margarita, senior. Rushed for 252 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-0 victory over Newport Harbor in the Division V title game.
