Letters: Where to get movie times

Re “AMC leaves its patrons in dark,” Column, Nov. 2
One other cost-cutting move by AMC that David Lazarus failed to mention is that AMC does not advertise in the newspaper. It is for this reason that I rarely go to an AMC theater anymore.
Yes, I could look up movie times on my smartphone, but it is much more convenient to have information for all movies and all movie theaters in one easy-to-use place: the daily newspaper. And I bet that anyone who reads the newspaper would agree with me.
Although I can live without AMC’s rewards program, unless the theater chain starts advertising in newspapers again, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
